20.12.2021 Nancy Dewhurst:
Installation ‚A Map to Maybe‘

20. Dezember 2021, 17-21h
KHBstudios, Nazarethkirchstr. 42, 13347 Berlin-Wedding
2G+ (Nachweis Geimpft/Genesen, Personalausweis, tagesaktueller Test, Maskenpflicht)

Nancy Dewhurst installation proposal
A Map to Maybe will be a playful, intermedia and interactive installation. It will embrace and explore questions, hypotheticals and unknowns, particularly with regards to future ecologies, technologies, landscapes, and relations between the human and the more-than-human. The work can be considered a scrambled-up science fiction novel, in visual form. Or, as “sentences” taken out of context and combined together. There is no linear narrative, but instead a series of playful ideas.

______
* The AG Minimales Reisen (= german ‚minimal travelling‘) is an anti-elitist artists‘ initiative. Its aim is to bring together different positions and make them visible. It understands travel as a central cultural technique of our time. It uses its enticing mechanisms – climate-neutral in the „near distance“ – to initiate and support various process- and research-oriented formats. The core of the AG’s interest is developed in the here and now. With experimental approaches we experience the „moment of distance“. We call it travelling.
